I chose to depict an anxiety ridden brain as a rusty prison, abandoned, but ready to be explored. The stairs lead up to a theater stage like opening to view the film.

Mental Prison is a short filmvisualizing the feeling of Generalized Anxiety Disorder broken into two acts. The first, Chattering Fingers and Darting Eyes, demonstrates the chaos of the disorder while defining it with text from DSM-5. The second, The Adrenaline Overdose, demonstrates the drop experienced after prolonged stress. I chose to match the visuals of Act I to the notes of the song Untitled #5 by John Frusciante and Witch Hunt by Jack Off Jill for Act II.
