Mural for Westport Heights Elementary School / Latex Paint / 42” x 11” x 18”
For this mural, I worked in a group of three with students from Westport Heights Elementary School in Los Angeles, CA to redesign the school mascot, the California Condoor, to make it a little bit cuter. The kids were our clients so we pitched different designs and allowed them to pick their favorite. Our clients wanted to inclde specific elements which we included, like the pizza on his hat. When the design was finished, we made the stencil, but we worked with the kids to paint it.
